What separates Expansion Core from games that are already out there?
The main difference from other survival games will be the need for the player to keep moving. Most survival games allow the player to create a center of operations in a safe location with great defenses. That gives the player a home base to store everything and operate out of. In Expansion Core, there are no safe areas. You must always keep moving to avoid being overrun by enemies. At the same time, you must also be aware of the storm’s location to be sure that you don’t get caught up in it.
Another difference that greatly affects game play will be the equipment system. Since the player is an AI with a flimsy recon body, anything can break. This means that your armor isn’t just protection, but structure to keep your limbs from breaking. Each piece of armor will allow you to run for longer, take higher falls, and attack with more power.
